Dr. Eric Lo is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Professor Eric Lo’s research mainly focuses on video analytics, supercomputing, database, distributed systems, and data science. Supported by the Croucher Scholarship, Eric received his Ph.D. from ETH Zurich‘s Computer Science Department. He was a member of ETH’s Systems group. Before joining CUHK, he got stints at Google and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Professor Lo is the principal investigator of Centre for Perceptual and Interactive Intelligence (CPII) since 2020.
