The laboratory is directed by professors from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Research on one of the topics: AI-based human body shape capture and analysis, computational garment design, garment manipulation with robot-arms, and wearable applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop maintainable software for the research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Author research papers or other technical documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with teammates on related projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#34bbbf\"><strong>Job requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s \/ Master\u2019s \/ PhD Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in Python or C++ is a must<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in computer-aided design, computer graphics (geometry processing), robot simulation and control, and computer vision would be highly preferable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiar with 3D modelling software (such as Blender) will be an advantage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good communication skills and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-motivated character and good team player<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Appointment will initially be made on up to two-year contract commencing as soon as possible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Immediate available is preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#34bbbf\"><strong>Fringe benefit(s)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Five-day work week<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job description The appointee will join the Personalized Design &amp; Fabrication Laboratory at Centre for Perceptual and Interactive Intelligence (CPII).
