CPII is pleased to announce that the interview of our Centre Director, Professor Helen Meng has been published in the Chinese University Alumni Magazine Issue 113, p.25. In the interview, Professor Helen Meng shared her newest innovations, including Speech and Language Analytics Toolkit, and expressed her thoughts on the impacts of AI development. She hopes that CPII can help to realise the promise of AI and leverage Hong Kong’s international research networks for AI talent development and exchange. She believes that The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as a comprehensive university, can strengthen the research and development in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
Spotlight – Hong Kong
CPII is pleased to announce that our centre has been broadcasted on the “Spotlight – Hong Kong” produced by Euronews in partnership with the Hong Kong SAR Government. In the episode, our Centre Director, Professor Helen Meng, explained the implementation of the “AI-based Personalised Product Design and Fabrication”. Professor Yam, one of our program leaders, and his team also slightly demonstrated the 3D human datasets and 3D weaving technology.
I&T New Era II
CPII is pleased to announce that our centre has been broadcasted on the 15th episode of “I&T New Era II”, jointly produced by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). In the episode, one of our program leaders, Professor Yam and his team introduced the “AI-based Personalized Product Design and Fabrication” and demonstrated the 3D human datasets and 3D weaving technology.
“I&T New Era II” broadcasts on RTHK TV 31 with 28 episodes. The series introduces the latest R&D projects and results of the 28 research laboratories under InnoHK.
